God of an awful lot of adjectives

In case anyone's wondering, here is the list of adjectives (in semi-alphabetical order) Wendy White and Pat Oliver placed before the word 'God' for our prayerful consideration at Windermere:

I've been thiking more about this. What about adding "fast"?
There's the wonderful line in the RS Thomas poem:

such a fast
God, always before us and
leaving as we arrive

Thanks again

Ann

It's great to have all those adjectives listed for us - thanks very much Wendy & Pat, plus whoever typed them all out for us! Allow me to offer a few which may not be in the list but were particularly relevant on the journey home on Thursday afternoon - protecting, vehicular, emergency-dealing.....
Ann and I broke down about a mile beyond the Windermere boundary and eventually got home thanks to the combined efforts of Green Flag, a very helpful recovery service and a taxi able to take wheelchairs in which we were driven back to my house!!! Thank you God and thank you to all concerned for a safe end to what could have been a disastrous day.

Marion - I'm so glad that you got home all right in the end and sorry it was such a difficult journey. Glad to see you leaving your first comment here. I return to Geneva tomorrow and will try to get in touch with everyone about how to post in the next couple of days - I've been rather busy since arriving in REdditch getting to know my mother's new partner!
